Sub Saharan African Haircare Consumer Behaviour and Regimes 2015African haircare presents a powerful growth opportunity for product formulators.
Sub Saharan African hair regimes and practices are totally unlike those of their counterparts in the west or east. As a result, they spend proportionally more per capita on haircare compared to people with other types of hair. Their unique and complicated hair styling regimes require a wide range of hard and software products - from the ultra natural (oils and butters) to the strongest chemicals along with hair pieces and extensions.
We are now interviewing Sub Saharan African haircare retailers and professionals (including Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and more) to understand each stage of African hair care, styling, straightening regimes.
